Meet the Founder
Tanique Powell
Founder & Executive Director
Tanique Powell is an experienced educator, advocate, and parent coach with over a decade of experience working with both neurodiverse and neurotypical students. Her professional journey spans classrooms, behavior therapy, and educational consulting—serving families, schools, and churches that support children with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and behavioral challenges. Tanique specializes in providing behavior support, individualized strategies, and collaborative coaching for parents, educators, and ministry teams. Her compassionate and faith-led approach bridges the gap between home, school, and church environments—helping adults respond to children with both understanding and grace. Guided by her faith and a strong belief that every child deserves to thrive, Tanique founded Kare Companions & Consulting (KCC) to provide the tools, knowledge, and support needed to create inclusive, nurturing spaces for all children.
